From HR to Happyformance

Laurence Vanhée held HR leadership roles in the private sector and then at Belgium’s Federal Public Service Social Security, where she held the title of Chief Happiness Officer. She was named Belgium’s HR Manager of the Year in 2012.

She founded Happyformance in 2013 to support cultural and organisational transformation by connecting management practices, happiness at work and sustainable performance.

A voice shaped by experience

Her talks explore happiness at work, positive leadership, new management paradigms and changes in the world of work. They invite leaders, managers and teams to connect ideas with their own practical situations.

Her TEDx talks, including MySexyWorkspace and How to make the Z Gen happy at work, illustrate this thinking on workplaces and generational expectations.

Happy RH and new management paradigms

Laurence Vanhée is the author of Happy RH — Le bonheur au travail, rentable et durable, published in 2013. Her approach invites us to consider freedom, responsibility, happiness and performance together.

Through Happyformance, she supports organisations and develops NPM© / NPO© approaches to help management and organisational culture evolve.
