Our servicesPractical guide · change management
Support transformation and build buy-in.
Organisational transformation changes reference points, roles or ways of cooperating. Support means making the project understandable and exploring its consequences with the people involved.
Make the direction clear
Explain the problem the project addresses, the intended goals and what remains to be decided. Distinguish decisions already made from topics open to contribution: clear participation avoids false expectations.
Then translate the vision into everyday work. Teams need to understand what changes in their activities, relationships and responsibilities.
Listen to what resistance is telling you
A concern can signal an operational difficulty, lost reference points or uncertainty about resources. Ask what is at stake before trying to persuade.
Involve managers in discussions and equip them to answer questions. They must be able to express their own uncertainties and raise situations that require a decision.
Experiment and embed practices
Choose a limited scope to test new ways of working. Gather feedback and adjust the rules before rolling them out more widely where possible.
Transformation also lasts through the routines, decisions and resources that support it. Schedule regular reviews and make visible the adjustments made in response to everyday observations.
